Test description/Objective

The objective of this test case is to verify the functionality of saving favorite Local Area Monitoring (LAM) stations to a user account in accordance with Feature 103 (FEA103).

Test Pre-State

  1. Ensure that the system is in a stable state.
  2. User accounts with appropriate permissions are available in the system.

Test steps
# Action Expected result
1 Log in to the user account. The user should have access to their account dashboard.
2 Navigate to the station details page. The user should be able to view information about LAM stations.
3 Select a LAM station to mark as a favorite. The system should provide an option to mark the station as a favorite.
4 Save the selected station as a favorite. The system should confirm the successful saving of the station to the user's favorites list.
5 Navigate to the user's account dashboard. The dashboard should display a section for saved favorite stations.
6 Verify that the saved station appears in the favorites list. The selected station should be listed as a favorite on the user's dashboard.

  • PASS: The system allows users to save favorite LAM stations, confirms successful saving, and accurately displays the saved stations in the user's account dashboard.
